Kelly grew up in Malvern, PA with her mom, dad, brother, Tim and sister, Kate. She attended Penn State University and attained a BS in Marketing and Minor in Spanish. After college, she worked for General Reinsurance as a Property Facultative Underwriter. While she liked her job and the experience she gained in the business world, her true calling was always teaching. She attended Drexel University and received a MS in the Science of Instruction. Immediately following student teaching, she received a job with Central Bucks School District as a Fourth Grade Teacher. Kelly went through further education to become an early childhood instructor and has years of experience teaching ages 2-5. She is the Associate Director of Seeds of Joy Nursery School.
Kelly is married to Matt, and they met at Penn State on the way to a job interview. Thank goodness it all worked out – ask her about the story sometime, it’s a fun one! They have three boys, Cole, Griffin and William. They live in Ambler and her sons attend school in the Hatboro Horsham School District and LaSalle High School.
Kelly likes to exercise, lesson plan, read all the latest topics and listen to podcasts regarding early childhood learning, read fiction, socialize with friends, cook easy, healthy, quick family dinners, ski, and hang out in Long Beach Island, NJ with family and friends.
Seeds of Joy Christian Nursery School is the product of faith, a passion for teaching, years of research and development, and a love for children and how they learn. Kelly is thrilled to be a part of educating Ambler’s little ones and inspiring a love of learning that will last throughout their lives.
