Traditional Worship
A liturgical service which honors the beauty and richness of our heritage, centered around a biblical message, featuring music led by our Sanctuary and Bell Choirs.
Traditional Worship 9:00 am
Traditional Music Ministry
At our traditional worship service, the Sanctuary Choir helps to lead the congregation in corporate worship. This group also sings anthems to the glory of God as offerings of prayer and praise on behalf of the congregation. The handbell choirs provide a different kind of worship experience through purely instrumental music. The organist leads the congregation in the singing of hymns and responses. He also helps to shape the mood and flow of the services through preludes, offertories, and postludes.
The Sanctuary Choir (adults)
This choir is open to anyone who loves to sing. There are no audition requirements. This group provides the main choral support at the 9:00 traditional worship service and other special services throughout the year. In addition to singing an anthem every week, they help to lead in the singing of hymns and responses. The group meets every Wednesday evening from 8:00-9:15 PM. All rehearsals are in the choir room, which is directly below the sanctuary.
The Joyful Ringers (adult handbell choir)
This choir makes a musical contribution to the worship services by playing once a month during the offertory by playing and at other special services. There are no audition requirements, although knowing how to read music is a plus. The group rehearses in the sanctuary every Wednesday night from 7:00-8:00 PM.
