Teresa grew up in King of Prussia, PA with her mom, dad, brother, Jim and sister, Patty. She attended Boston University and attained a BS in Early Childhood Education and a BA Cum Laude in Psychology. She secured her first teaching job in Newton, Massachusetts in a kindergarten classroom in the fall after graduation. Her marriage and familial ties brought her back to the Philadelphia area to plan her wedding. While she planned her wedding at home in King of Prussia, she pursued a Master of Education in Special Education at Temple University. Upon securing her M Ed, she taught first grade in Central Bucks School District and was a Learning Support classroom teacher, grades K-5 in Centennial School District for several years. After having her first 2 daughters, Teresa became an early childhood instructor for several years teaching ages 2-5. She is honored to be the Director of Seeds of Joy Nursery School.
Teresa is married to Matt, who is from the Boston area and has grown to love Ambler and Philly sports. They have four children, Julia, Briana, James and Lydia. Their home is in Ambler and their kids have pursued their dreams and are living in New York, Delaware and Pittsburgh.
Teresa likes to hike with her family, read about current trends in early childhood education, plan parties—she has a side party planning business, T Parties by T Nolin where she can be found inflating MANY balloons and attending to her customers’ party needs.
Seeds of Joy’s mission to create a love of learning for young children through play and exploration resonates with Teresa. She is excited to be a part of this exciting endeavor that will inspire a love of learning in Ambler’s young children.
