What if… Day 21
Read Psalm 24
We end where we began, with the 24th Psalm. We are reminded again that “The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it.” We belong to the Lord, and so does everything we have. We are entrusted to care for what God has given us. God wants us to use His gifts wisely.
How will you use the gifts and resources that God has given to you? Everyone has an answer to this question. We find the answer in how we actually use what we’ve been given. Is it possible that God is calling you do make a change, to do something different, to step out in faith ask the Lord to use this step of faith to teach you to trust him more?
This year our church is challenging us all to try a 60-day tithe – giving 10% for two months. Why? Because we are serious about discipleship, and sometimes real growth means taking a bold and sometimes frightening step. Will you join us?
Lord, you call us to live with boldness and to trust you with everything. Stepping out in faith is hard, though. Lord, show me how I can step out in faith today, and in the coming year, to grow in my faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
