Michael Joy Retirement Celebration

THERE WILL BE ONE TRADITIONAL WORSHIP SERVICE ON SUNDAY, June 29, at 10:00 am.
Please join us as we celebrate Michael Joy and his 50 (almost) years as our Music Director.
There will be a reception in the café and lounge after worship.

OPPORTUNITIES TO JOIN THE CELEBRATION ON JUNE 29:

• ATTENTION ALL SINGERS! You have a unique opportunity to praise God through music. On June 29, Mike Joy’s final Sunday, we would like to invite interested singers to join the Sanctuary Choir to help lead worship and sing a special anthem to celebrate the occasion. There will be Wednesday evening rehearsals and participants need to attend at least two of the following rehearsals: June 4, 11, or 18. Everyone is expected on June 25, the last rehearsal before June 29. The rehearsals will start at 8:00 pm in the choir room and will last 30-40 minutes. • We are seeking members to join the MUSIC & WORSHIP COMMITTEE IN HOSTING A RECEPTION for our wonderful Director of Music, Michael Joy, who will be celebrating his last Sunday with us on June 29, 2025. If you are interested in assisting, please contact Jean Miksch ([email protected] )

• SEEKING PHOTOS. Do you have photographs of church events with music or that might include our wonderful Music Director, Michael Joy? We are seeking photographs of music, music events and Michael through the years to put together a slide show to share during his celebration.
