Pastor Ryan Balsan
Ryan was born in Iowa, raised in Minnesota, but has lived in Philadelphia and New Jersey for almost his entire adult life. He graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Political Science. After college he served as a youth director at the Great Valley Presbyterian Church in Malvern, PA. From there he went to Princeton Theological Seminary. FPCA is the third church Ryan has served as a pastor.
He has been happily married since 1994 to his wife, Jennifer and they have four children: Caleb, Clare, Isaac, and Marc who keep them busy, laughing, and fill their home with joy.
When he’s not at church, Ryan follows Philadelphia Sports teams, reads, aspires to be a regular at the gym, collects vinyl records, watches Netflix, cooks, and hangs out with his family.
